Giorgio Gnoli Fractional Manager
FOR SMEs · MINIMUM €1.5M REVENUE

A CRM, marketing & sales director inside your company, without hiring one.

I took a clinic from €5,000 to €60,000/month without a euro of ads. I launched a loyalty program from 0 to 300,000 users in 6 months. Now I do the same inside SMEs: 1-2 days a week, accountable for the numbers.

Why fractional

You get senior-director experience — CRM, marketing and sales together — at a fraction of a full-time hire. Ex-Salesforce expertise at roughly 1/3 of what a Big-4 consultancy charges. If the numbers don't move, you exit with 30 days' notice.

The real cost of a mistake

Hiring the wrong director can cost you more than €400,000.

The salary isn't the problem. It's everything around it: the lost time, the missed revenue, starting over. Let's run the numbers:

Salary + taxes + car + bonus
€120,000 – 150,000
every year, results or not
6–9 months to know if it works
€75,000 – 110,000
salary paid while waiting for numbers
Missed revenue in the meantime
€150,000 – 400,000
lost opportunities, unclosed deals
Replacement cost
€30,000 – 60,000
head hunters, interviews, your time
Total cost of one mistake
€375,000 – 720,000
A number most SMEs cannot afford to burn.

A fractional manager with a proven track record removes that risk: a fraction of the cost, live in 2 weeks, exit with 30 days' notice.

About — Giorgio Gnoli

I didn't read how it's done. I did it.

Fifteen years across multinationals and SMEs, always on the same problem: turning data and contacts into revenue.

Where I learned

An MBA at SDA Bocconi, then the field: Gameloft, Indeed in Austin, then heading marketing for an automotive group — 27 people, €2M budget. That's where I learned leads aren't a budget problem: they're a direction problem. We went from 30 to 2,000 leads a month.

The enterprise level

At Fater (a P&G–Angelini joint venture) I launched the Pampers loyalty program: zero to 300,000 users in 6 months. Then Salesforce, as a Senior Solution Engineer: deals up to €5M, 4 certifications, Marketing Cloud projects across 20+ countries. I know how billion-euro companies work — and what an SME can copy for free.

Proof on my own money

Meanwhile I grew a family clinic from €5,000 to €60,000 a month in 5 years, without a euro of advertising. Just CRM, retention, automation and AI. No theory: bills paid with those results.

What I do today

I bring this inside SMEs, fractionally: 1-2 days a week, inside your team, accountable for the numbers. Lecturer for Talent Garden and Learnn, 500+ salespeople trained. Few companies at a time, never competitors.

I'll run your company's growth as if it were my own.

Results

What I've built, directed and sold.

Real numbers. Details and references on the table during the diagnosis.

Healthcare — Retention & automation

Dental clinic

€5k→€60k monthly revenue
5 years of steady growth
€0 spent on advertising

Five years directing marketing and CRM: dormant patients reactivated, automated recalls, local SEO, AI on the front office. Revenue went from €5,000 to €60,000 a month without a euro of ads. It proves my mantra: before buying traffic, monetize the database you already own.

Revenue sleeps inside your CRM. I wake it up.

Enterprise — Salesforce

Salesforce (Solution Engineer)

€5M deals worked
4x certifications
20+ countries, MC projects

Four years as a Senior Solution Engineer: CRM and Marketing Cloud architectures for enterprise accounts, deals up to €5 million. I know exactly how large companies build their revenue machines — and which parts an SME can replicate at near-zero cost.

Enterprise method, SME price.

Consumer — Loyalty & CRM

Pampers (Fater, P&G–Angelini JV)

0→300k users in 6 months
6 months from launch
1 single customer view

I launched the Pampers loyalty program: zero to 300,000 registered users in 6 months, automated journeys on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, subscription e-commerce. Nation-scale CRM, measured to the cent.

I make marketing and sales speak data.

B2B/B2C — Lead generation

Automotive group (CMO)

30→2,000 leads per month
27 people on the team
€2M+ budget managed

As marketing director: budget shifted from offline to digital, first online car-sales process, BDC built from scratch, 120+ salespeople trained. From 30 leads a month to 2,000. The department grew from 1 to 27 people.

Lead generation is a system, not a campaign.

The three pillars of growth

CRM. Marketing. Sales. The fractional manager makes them work together.

To cover all three, a company hires three people: a CRM lead, a marketing director, a sales director. Three salaries, three risks, three onboardings. Or one senior operator who has done all three — and runs them as one system.

01

CRM alone: data nobody uses

The CRM is there, maybe it's even Salesforce. But it's an archive: nobody updates it, nobody reads it, dormant customers stay dormant. Nobody sees the revenue hidden in the database.

A CRM without direction is a cost, not an asset.

02

Marketing alone: leads that burn

The agency delivers contacts, but nobody knows what a customer really costs or which channel performs. Between the click and the signature, half the requests die where there's no process.

One lead source is a risk, not a strategy.

03

Sales alone: closing on instinct

Salespeople close however they can: discounts, memory, personal method. When the best one leaves, the portfolio leaves too. And you don't know which deals are dying in the pipeline.

Selling more doesn't mean earning more.

Marketing that delivers measured opportunities. Sales that close with a process. A CRM that keeps score and reactivates the dormant. Together — with one person accountable for the numbers.

Who I work with

If you recognize yourself in these 5 situations, I'm the person you're looking for.

Transparency first: I'll tell you straight away whether there's a basis for working together — and when there isn't.

01 The CRM exists, nobody uses it

“We paid for the CRM. It became an expensive archive.”

Licenses paid, data scattered, salespeople keeping everything in Excel or in their heads. Your company's commercial asset doesn't belong to the company — it belongs to individuals.

What I'll actually do for you

I put the CRM back at the center: written processes, clean data, a real pipeline. Within weeks you know what you actually own.

02 Customers only come from referrals

“Five requests one month, zero the next.”

Without an acquisition system, revenue is at the mercy of chance. When referrals slow down — and they will — sales follow.

What I'll actually do for you

I build measured acquisition sources with a known cost per customer. More than one, so none holds you hostage.

03 Your database is asleep

“We have thousands of contacts. Nobody calls them.”

Past customers, unclosed quotes, old leads: revenue you already paid for, sitting in your systems. Reactivating it costs 5-10x less than buying new customers.

What I'll actually do for you

Reactivation sequences on email and WhatsApp, automated and tracked. Highest-ROI work I know: I've done it for years.

04 Marketing and sales don't talk

“Whoever brings the leads never talks to whoever closes them.”

The agency defends its budget, salespeople blame the leads. Nobody answers for the combined numbers.

What I'll actually do for you

One direction across the whole funnel, from click to signature. And a dashboard we review together every week.

05 You are the bottleneck

“Quotes, key accounts, decisions: everything goes through me.”

The company grows only as much as your days can hold. You know you need direction, but a €120k+ hire is a risk you don't want.

What I'll actually do for you

I step in, 1-2 days a week: method, priorities, numbers. You go back to being the entrepreneur.

I'm NOT the right person if:

  • You're a pre-revenue startup with no budget
  • You're looking for a cheap task-executing agency
  • You want guaranteed results in 30 days: they don't exist, and I don't promise them
  • You're looking for a full-time employee in the office
  • Your budget is under €3,500/month — respectfully, don't reach out

Investment

What does it cost?

A full-time director costs over €150k a year in salary, taxes, car and bonuses — results or not. This works the other way: you pay for actual commitment, and part of my compensation is tied to results.

Entry point

€3,500 / month

Fractional Advisory starts here: ongoing strategic direction, reading the numbers, steering CRM, marketing and sales decisions. Exact scope is defined in the diagnosis, based on days committed and your company's numbers. Roughly 1/3 of what a Big-4 consultancy charges for comparable seniority.

If your budget is under €3,500/month, this service isn't for you — I say it upfront out of respect for both our time.

Advisory

For teams that already execute and want a senior guide reading the numbers and steering decisions. Fixed meetings, shared dashboards, clear priorities.

Operating direction

I join the team 1-2 days a week: I build the CRM-marketing-sales system and answer for the agreed metrics. For those who want the engine, not the advice.

Commission only — by invitation

For a few brands a year — that I choose — I work on pure performance: zero retainer, only a percentage of the results I generate. You don't buy it: you apply through the diagnosis. If I accept, it means I'm betting my own money on your product.

No multi-year lock-in: 3 months to start, then month-to-month with 30 days' notice. Commission-only partnerships: 1-2 per year, by selection.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

A director with real experience — in my case CRM, marketing and sales — who joins your company 1-2 days a week, works inside the team and answers for the numbers. Senior direction without the cost and risk of a full-time hire.

An agency executes one piece (campaigns, social, website) and earns more when you spend more: it has a budget to defend. I direct CRM, marketing and sales together, and part of my compensation is tied to your results. I sit on your side of the table.

Same seniority — I'm an ex-Salesforce Senior Solution Engineer, 4x certified — at roughly 1/3 of the cost. And I don't leave slides behind: I build processes, campaigns and automations that keep running.

Yes, with tight direction: fixed weekly meetings, shared dashboards, system access, direct contact with the team. I've run international projects remotely for years — at Salesforce I worked across 20+ countries this way.

Before starting we agree on 3-5 metrics: qualified opportunities per month, close rate, cost per customer, revenue reactivated from the database. Numbers reviewed together every week. If they don't move, we talk about it openly.

A hired director easily exceeds €150k/year in total cost, and takes 3-6 months to find. Fractional direction starts at €3,500/month, you're live in one-two weeks, and you exit with 30 days' notice.

No. Three months to build the foundations, then month-to-month with 30 days' notice. No multi-year lock-in, no penalties.

No. One company per sector and territory, agreed during the diagnosis.

Yes, where it produces revenue: lead qualification, database reactivation via email and WhatsApp, voice agents, dashboards. Tools I already run on my own businesses, not conference demos.

Yes — but not for everyone. For a few brands a year, that I choose, I work on pure performance: zero retainer, a percentage of results. I only do it when the product, margins and database convince me enough to bet my own time. You don't buy it: you apply, and selection starts with the diagnosis.

A free 45-minute remote call. You tell me where you're stuck, I tell you if and how I can help. If there's a fit, you get a written proposal with 30/60/90-day deliverables. If there isn't, I'll say so immediately.
